Frequently asked questions.
Questions to Ask a general Contractor before hiring
How big is your crew?
If they work alone the job will take longer than if they have a crew of 2 or 3 guys. You should insist on licenced plumbers and electricians for those areas of the job. Also ask if they are all employees or do they use sub-contractors. They will have more control over employees.
Will YOU be on site every day?
We ensure that a competent and experienced site manager is always present. This ensures seamless coordination and top-quality execution. However, I make it a point to visit the site as often as possible to oversee progress and address any concerns.
Who is responsible for getting permits?
At A.N.T GLOBAL, we work closely with our clients to ensure all necessary permits are acquired. We coordinate with the owner and navigate the permitting process as part of our commitment to ensuring a smooth, compliant project.
What is not included in the quotation that you know I will need?
Our quotations are comprehensive and include all known aspects of the project, from materials to labor. However, potential additional costs could arise from unforeseen circumstances such as structural issues or changes in project scope. We'll ensure to communicate these promptly should they occur.
What is the schedule of work?
Generally, we start work by 8:00 AM and wrap up by 5:00 PM on weekdays, and occasionally work on Saturdays if necessary. Our typical project timeline will be shared with you, detailing when each sub-trade will be working, and any potential delays or lulls.
What is the best way to get in contact with you?
We strive for clear and timely communication. You can reach us via email or phone during business hours. For urgent matters, we're available after hours as well. Let's discuss which method you prefer for regular updates and conversations.
